![]() ![]() On February 19, 2013, Tiya married the love of her life, William Gill who she affectionately called “Swim”. She was a machinist by trade but sewing and cosmetology were her real loves. She loved family gatherings and was always the center of attention. ![]() Tiya was an outgoing “life of the party” kind of person. Tiya was baptized and received her spiritual upbringing at Greater Shepherd Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She received her GED from Arsenal Technical High School. Tiya attended the Indianapolis Public Schools. She was affectionately known as “Tiya” by her family and friends.
